Tours can be custom tailored for groups, including any special objectives, like merit badges. Station tours can also be scheduled as part of a birthday party (the department does not host the party.) For larger groups, please call 412-343-3402 to schedule.
Families and smaller groups are welcome to stop by any time, take a look around, and talk to firefighters, since the station is staffed 24 hours a day. We have fire helmets, badges, coloring books and trading cards for the kids.
We take a lot of pride in our station and equipment and love to show it off, so please visit us.

Being a volunteer firefighter is challenging and rewarding. As a volunteer, you can expect to be challenged. Because firefighting is a dangerous job, you will receive a great deal of training to ensure that you are well versed in the art and science of fire and rescue.
