Notification Links

At the Mt. Lebanon Police Department, we always say, “If you see something, say something.” We often hear about something too late, with a casual “I thought about calling, but …” We have made it easy for you to give us important information that can prevent crime or help us find the source of criminal activity.

The first stop is to call 9-1-1 any time you need to speak with an officer, even if it is not an emergency. Your call will be triaged.

Notification systems

Mt. Lebanon Police use two notification systems: We use LeboEmergency for life threatening notices, which include a call-to-action (such as evacuation or shelter-in-place orders.) Situations that might warrant this notification include: active shooters, escaped armed suspects, chemical leaks, missing fragile persons. We also use LeboALERTs for non-emergency notifications. Situations that might warrant this notification include: cancellation of overnight parking permissions due to snow or ice storm, crime trends/reminders, road closures, or requests for information after crimes have occurred. Learn more about both types here.
