2024-2025 school year:
Guard 1: $17.10 per hour plus $5.25 a day for travel allowance.
Guard 2: $17.60 per hour plus $5.25 a day for travel allowance.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED, transportation and valid driver’s license, and required clearances: PA State Police Criminal History Report (Act 34); Child Abuse Clearance Report (Act 151); Federal Criminal History Report (Act 114).

Junior Commissioner/Junior Board Member
Becoming a Mt. Lebanon Junior Commissioner or Junior Board Member is a great way to learn more about how local government operates and to see whether you might be interested in a career in public service. A Junior Commissioner or Board Member also has the opportunity to convey student concerns/opinions to the elected officials and to educate fellow high school students about issues facing the community.
The Junior Commissioner must live in Mt. Lebanon and be a junior or first-semester senior at Mt. Lebanon High School. So students who apply should be rising juniors or seniors. Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 2.5. The Junior Commissioner will serve for one semester (September-December and February-May). Junior Board Members serve for the school year. They can be sophomores, juniors or seniors and go to any public, private or home school. They must be Mt. Lebanon residents.
Mt. Lebanon Municipality is seeking two qualified students who reside in Mt. Lebanon to serve as junior commissioners and others to fill positions as junior board members for the upcoming school year.

LeboLife Blogger, Mt. Lebanon Magazine Website
Mt. Lebanon Magazine is seeking contributors to its LeboLife Blog.
LeboLife blogs are posted every Tuesday, featuring first-person content on topics ranging from recipes to holiday traditions to expert tips to stories about life here in Mt. Lebanon. Bloggers must have a connection to the community. They can be a current resident, a graduate or an expat. They must have strong writing skills with a basic knowledge of AP Style and be prepared to pitch story ideas and meet deadlines. Bloggers receive $30 per contribution. They are added to the Blogger Roll Call on Mt. Lebanon Magazine’s website after three contributions.
They must submit a minimum of one blog every two years to maintain a spot on the Roll Call. Diverse voices encouraged.
