Join us for Memorial Day 2026

UPDATE: Wednesday, May 13 6:25 p.m.:
Since we published this alert, Dormont Council has decided to weigh in early next week on accepting Mt. Lebanon passes and is confident we will reach an agreement. In the meantime, Scott Township has agreed to honor Mt. Lebanon swim passes at no charge to the pass holder, and other Mt. Lebanon residents may swim at non-resident rates. More details will follow.

Mt. Lebanon began planning and designing its pool filtration system replacement in 2024, and construction began shortly after the pool closed last season. The comprehensive update will ensure the pool can safely handle ongoing capacity crowds during the hottest days of summer.
On May 8, 2026, we learned a critical and essential component for the pump system could not be delivered to us in time. We have located another part that can be delivered faster, however, our original technicians would no longer be available by that time. We are currently arranging for technicians who are authorized to complete the programming and training once the part has been installed.
Municipal contractors, engineers, consultants and staff understand the importance of opening as soon as possible and are driving that goal forward.
We do not yet have an exact opening date but expect that the pool will not be ready to open Memorial Day weekend as previously announced. In the meantime, the Dormont pool will honor our swim center passes and will admit residents at Dormont’s regular rates. More details will follow.
We know the important function the swim center fills for you, whether you are a competitive, fitness or recreational swimmer. We are working as hard as we can to minimize this disruption and we are deeply sorry for the delay. We will update the schedule as soon as we have confirmed dates.
Updates will be posted here.
