As players transition from Mite cross-ice hockey to full ice Squirt, they will learn new concepts and skills to continue their development as a hocky player. To help players in their progression, we have designed a transition class to give them an opportunity to work on some shooting and passing techniques using the heavier black puck with skating and shooting adjustments to the larger surfaces and time devoted to game situations and positional play including face-off alignments.
