Underground Explorers Science Camp Dig up the ancient past! Solve real-life mysteries! Kids learn about archaeology and the techniques scientist use to excavate long lost cities! They discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history! What’s more, each class includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
Fizz, Boom, BANG Science Camp will inspire curiosity in kids. Shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! This hands-on, interactive chemistry camp is packed solid with cool reactions. Students put on goggles and change liquid to solid, and then back again. They have the opportunity to handle laboratory tools, build and break molecules, and pick up some tricks on chemical changes.
Forces & Flight Science Camp From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this hands-on program will allow students to build many different flying devices, see how Newton’s laws of motion help explain how things move and how rockets fly. Explore how amazing our Milky Way is!
Eureka! The Inventor’s Camp Overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most important – your mind! Create catapults and forts, build shelters, bridges, and learn about density. While Thomas Edison said, “invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration,” this program is 100% FUN!
