Train for the fastest game on earth. Learn to Play Hockey offers many new and innovative concepts based on the philosophy that hockey should be fun. LTPH enables players ages 4-12 with all ability levels to participate and learn the skills of the game in a progressive, non-pressure atmosphere at an affordable price. Small class sizes, P.S.A. Skating Professionals, certified USA Hockey Instructors, and weekly scrimmages. Skaters should participate in a Learn to Skate class prior to Learn to Play.
NEW for 2026! We have teamed up with Pure Hockey to give our LTPH participants special access to discounted hockey equipment (starter bundles and individual items) year-round! Upon registration, registrants will receive a direct link to our Mt. Lebanon Learn to Play Hockey store (link provided in your receipt/confirmation email). **Please note the equipment order closing date and ship by date for each LTPH session.

All Pure Hockey LTPH equipment orders must be placed by 12/7/25. Orders ship by 12/23.

Online – Register for as many programs as you like with a MasterCard or Visa. Save time by registering online today! You also may register in the office during business hours, 8:30 a.m.to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cash or Check.
For program cancellations or other important information, sign up for LeboALERT on the myLebo platform and receive text and email notifications. Ensure you select the “cancellations” category. The Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center provides free LeboNet WiFi.
