Holiday Events in Mt. Lebanon
Mt. Lebanon is affiliated with the United States Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. Our classes are taught by P.S.A. skating professionals and feature a progressive skating system allowing each student the opportunity to advance individually when skating levels have been mastered.
Skaters: 1st Grade through Adults

Skaters 10 and younger must have a parent present in the building during the child’s activity.
Required garments are: gloves or mittens, thin, smooth non-textured socks that fit above the skates, and a light jacket or sweatshirt. Arms and legs must be covered. Knit hats or helmets are recommended.
Early Registration: Previously enrolled Winter Session students and Mt. Lebanon residents may register beginning October 7. Students and non residents may register beginning October 14 online.

Adult/Teen Beginner & Intermediate: This class is divided into two groups. The beginner level is an introductory basic skills class for skaters who have never been on the ice or taken lessons. This group focuses on basic forward skating skills, balance, and beginning backward skating The intermediate level will continue to develop forward and backward skating skills with the introduction of turns, stops, and edges to prepare skaters for the advanced class.
Adult/Teen Advanced: An advanced class for skaters who have progressed through the beginner and intermediate levels and are beginning for work on more advanced skating patterns and elements.
Skating Level 1 – 3 First – Sixth Grade: An introductory basic skills class with no prior or limited skating experience who have taken
lessons and passes levels 1, 2, or 3 who want to learn and improve skating skills and confidence on ice. Skates will be divided by
ability level during class.
Skating Level 4 – 6 First – Sixth Grade: An intermediate class for skaters who have passed levels 1-3. Levels 4-6 help skaters to
develop all of the fundamental skating skills on ice. Skaters will be divided by ability level during class.

Online – Register for as many programs as you like with a MasterCard or Visa. Save time by registering online today! You also may register in the office during business hours, 8:30 a.m.to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cash or Check.
