This is not a First Aid Certification class.
Step-by-step procedures on how to get babysitting jobs, and introduce the student as an effective, responsible babysitter from start to finish are covered so the experience can be more positive! Simple first-aid and essential safety practices, basics regarding playtime, activities, feeding, and simple age-appropriate behavior and development ideas will be covered.
Students can ask questions, examples of real-life scenarios will be discussed, and the student will gain confidence in having
the basic tools needed to babysit, assist parents, and care for a younger child by the end of the class.
Material and handouts will be provided along with a Certificate of Completion.
