May 14, 2021: Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department will follow current CDC and state guidelines, including masking. Unvaccinated people must wear masks indoors, and they must also wear them outdoors unless 6 feet of distance can be maintained from those outside of their household. Fully vaccinated individuals do not have to wear masks indoors or outdoors. Social distancing and frequent handwashing are encouraged. In general, protect yourself and others. Don’t attend programs if you feel sick or are otherwise at risk. These guidelines are subject to change.
The Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center is located in the main park just off Cedar Boulevard in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This smoke-free, alcohol-free building operates year-round and is open to all citizens.
The first floor of the facility includes a regulation 200-by-85 foot main ice rink and a 60-by-80-foot studio ice rink. With seating for more than 700 specters a snack bar and pro shop, the center has hosted national figure skating competitions, hockey tournaments, circuses and car shows.
The second floor consists of two meeting rooms, which can both be subdivided, a fully equipped warming kitchen, and the Recreation Department office.
