Clear all sidewalks after ice and snow event
Property owners must clear their sidewalks of snow and ice. Residents have 24 hours after the snowfall ends to do it. Businesses have four hours. If you can do it sooner, even better, as everyone uses our sidewalks, including people with wheelchairs and strollers. We prefer education to enforcement but police will be warning and citing property owners who fail to keep their sidewalks safe. Please do your part to help our walking community. Online permit applications temporarily on hold
The inspections department is migrating to new software. As a result, online ZONING permit applications will be on hold starting July 1, until the new software is up and running. You can still apply for ALL permits using paper applications that you can download or pick up in the municipal building. Details on our permits page.
