We continue to offer our deepest sympathies to the Lynch family, their family, friends and anyone touched by the tragedy in Mt. Lebanon yesterday. Seeing neighbors reaching out to take care of each other is giving us solace as we work through our grief. We are grateful for our first responders, including our professionals from Medical Rescue Team South Authority, Mt. Lebanon Police Department and Mt. Lebanon Fire Department, who did everything they could to try to save the individuals.
If you or someone you love is suffering a mental health crisis of any kind, on any day at any time, please reach out to a mental health professional or to resolve Crisis Services. 1-888-796-8226. More information is available here: https://www.upmc.com/…/emergenc…/resolve-crisis-services
Although they are not a 24/7 crisis center, Outreach Teen & Family Services is an excellent community partner in Mt. Lebanon and offers counseling for the entire family.
Additional resources are available through Mt. Lebanon’s social services coordinator.
We have established an area in the pavilion at Clearview Common, 701 Washington Road, for memorials/flowers for the Lynch family. That is a safe place, away from traffic for people to gather, remember and share comfort. Anything placed behind the municipal building is being moved. Thank you for taking care of each other.
