Road closures for Run Through the Woods 5K on May 31
The 10th annual Run through the Woods 5K will close several streets in the Hoover area in the morning hours of Saturday, May 31.
Road closures will begin at 7:45 a.m., with the race starting at 8 a.m. The course goes through the Cedarhurst Manor neighborhood, beginning on Robb Hollow Road and continuing down Driftwood, Boxwood, Arrowood, Pinewood, Firwood, Rawley, Lakemont, Harwood, Folkstone, Glaids and Larchdale drives. The roads will reopen after the race is complete.
The Hoover Elementary School Parent Teacher Association fundraiser also includes a 1 mile fun run/walk.
