Siren / Emergency Information
Mt. Lebanon tests its emergency sirens at 1 p.m. the first Saturday of every month.
If you hear the siren at another time, it signals an emergency such as a tornado, flood, hazardous materials spill or a terrorist attack. You should immediately:
- Tune to Comcast Channel 17 or Verizon Channel 34 for instructions.
- Tune to KDKA 1020 AM for details.
- Be prepared to take shelter.
Do not call 9-1-1 unless you are personally experiencing an emergency.
