Mt. Lebanon residents are able to participate in a free glass recycling pilot program at Michael Brothers Recycling, 901 Horning Road, Baldwin, on Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays, from 7 to 11 a.m., starting immediately and lasting through the next three months.

You must separate your glass into three colors: clear, brown/amber and green. You can drop them off in the marked bins in the indoor drive-thru area at Michael Brothers.

You may also take unbroken beer bottles (no other kinds of glass) to Bridge City Beverage, 1608 Cochran Road in Scott Township, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..You do not need to separate those bottles.
