The water line project that began in March in the eastbound lane of Bower Hill Road between Segar and Cochran roads is moving toward completion. Contractors will be milling and doing final trench restoration from 7 a.m to 5 p.m , Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28. Traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction, so drivers should expect delays. Police will assist with traffic control.

This project is expected to conclude by Friday, April 28. On Saturday, April 22, contractors
are scheduled to work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. repairing asphalt areas throughout the project. Traffic will be restricted periodically that day to one lane in each direction. During the following week of April 24, final cleanup will take place and Parking Lot Paint will be on site to finish any remaining crosswalks. Traffic restrictions will be minimal.
Contractors will begin gas line work on Gilkeson Road on Monday, January 23, weather permitting.
Gilkeson will have single lane restrictions between Route 19 and Old Gilkeson Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Friday, April 28. One lane will be open in each direction throughout the project.
