Our community offers many resources for teens and young adults who may have a drug problem or are concerned about friends who may be using. Young people need to educate themselves about the negative effects of prescription drug abuse and know where to turn for advice or treatment.

  • Maintain strong relationships with your parent/parents or other adults you trust.
  • Get to know your school guidance counselor.
  • Remember that Outreach Teen and Family Service, 666 Washington Road is a confidential resource for those 14 and older, and the first two visits are free.
