Season Pass Requirements
Tennis Passes Go On Sale March 1, 2013.
Spring / summer season passes for the Tennis Center may be purchased at the Recreation Department Offices or at the Ice Rink beginning March 1, or at the Tennis Center after opening day (approximately May 1). Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All pass holders must have their photo taken for their pass, prior to coming to the Tennis Center. Applicants must furnish proof of residency at time of pass purchase. A driver’s license is suggested. Address on a check is not acceptable. No mail or phone-in applications will be accepted.
The recreation department maintains a total of 15 tennis courts at the Municipal Tennis Center located on Cedar Boulevard. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily from May 1 through September 30. The tennis center is operated by Indoor Tennis for Mt. Lebanon from October 15 through April 15. Indoor court hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Tennis lessons for children and adults are taught by the recreation staff and head tennis pro Hank Hughes, throughout the year. Private lessons are available for groups, or individuals. The tennis center also has a pro shop for the sale of rackets and accessories and racket restringing.
Tournament & League Play
The center offers tournament and league play, regular court time and lessons. Tennis clinics are held for all ages and abilities. Reservations are accepted for both outdoor and indoor times by calling (412) 343-3411 for availability.
Municipal courts are also located at Williamsburg Park off Sleepy Hollow Road and Meadowcroft Park on North Meadowcroft Avenue. There is no charge for use of these courts.
